I made this tonight. It was WONDERFUL!!!
I did tweak it a tad... I cut it in about half (but I think I used more than half of the meat).
I used raw chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces which I cooked with the pork. I didn't use anywhere near the amount of hot sauce (Tabasco) they called for because none of us would have been able to eat it. I used about a teaspoon... maybe a little less. I didn't add the red pepper (again, because we're wimps and I'm feeding a 12-year-old and a 4-year-old).
Unfortunately, DH has another cold and couldn't taste it, but my son and DIL both liked it really well, as did I.
Thanks again for posting! It is definitely a keeper and will be made again and again.
