This is a simple recipe that doesn’t require an ice cream freezer to prepare.
1 can (14 ozs.) sweetened condensed milk 2/3 cup chocolate syrup 2 cups (1 pint) heavy or whipping cream, whipped
In a large bowl, stir together condensed milk and chocolate syrup. Fold in whipped cream.
Pour into an aluminum foil lined 9x5-inch pan and freeze at least 6 hours or until firm.
Strawberry Ice Cream
Omit chocolate syrup. Thaw 1 package (10 ozs.) frozen strawberries in syrup. Blend strawberries in blender until smooth. In large bowl, combine condensed milk and strawberries. Fold in whipped cream. Freeze as above.
French Vanilla Ice Cream
Omit chocolate syrup. In large bowl, combine condensed milk, 2 tablespoons water, 2 beaten egg yolks, and 4 teaspoons vanilla. Fold in whipped cream. Freeze as above.
Homemade Ice Cream Pies
Prepare any ice cream flavor you desire. Pour into two prepared chocolate or shortbread cookie crumb crusts (such as Keebler), and freeze for 6 hours or until firm.
