Russian Tea Cake Cookies

1 cup butter softened at room temp
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
More Powdered Sugar

Preheat oven 400 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter with 1/2 cup powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt and pecans. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes. Roll warm balls in powdered sugar. Once they cool you can roll them in powdered sugar one more time for extra sweetness.
