Christmas Candy

Over low heat, stiring until the sugar melts

1 cup of granulated sugar
1 cup of corn syrup

Then add:
1 cup or 1 small jar of peanut butter (chunky or smooth)

Stir until the peanut butter is mixed well into the syrup.  In a large bowl, pour over 5 to 6 cups of crisp rice cereal and mix well; Then place in either aan 8 x 8 or 7 x 11 or 9 x 13 very well greased pan.  Pat it down well, how high this will be depends on the size of the pan.

Next, again, over low heat, melt:

1 12 oz pkg of semi sweet chips
1 12 oz. package of butterscotch bits

When completed melted, pour over the cereal mix and smooth like you would if you were frosting a cake. To harden, place in the fridge for an hour or two or even over night.
Otherwise just cut into small pieces and serve.
