The whole family can help decorate these Christmas candy cottages—it's festive fun for everyone!
Preparation time 20 minutes Decoration time 10 minutes each or to you heart's content What you'll need:
3 M-AZING(R) Brand Milk Chocolate Bars
1 bag M&M'S(R) Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for the Holidays
1 bag DOVE(R) Brand PROMISES(R)
1 bag MINIS MIX™ Chocolates for the Holidays
1 10-oz. family size frozen pound cake, thawed
1 16-oz. can vanilla frosting
Coconut, optional
Red food coloring
Spatula
Resealable plastic bag
Serrated knife
What To Do:
1. Cut the pound cake into thirds crosswise. To make a pitched roof, trim the top at a slight angle, one inch down on either side from the center.
2. Tint 1 cup of vanilla frosting red. Spoon 1/2 cup of the remaining vanilla frosting into a resealable plastic bag. Frost the houses with either red or white frosting.
3. Cut the M-AZING(R) Brand Milk Chocolate Bars in half. For the cottage roof; press a half, sideways, onto the pitched sides of the house and DOVE(R) Brand PROMISES(R) for the windows and doors, and M&M'S(R) Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for the Holidays for the details. Snip a small corner from the plastic bag, and then pipe windowpanes, window boxes and icicles.
4. Arrange coconut and M&M'S(R) Brand Milk Chocolate Candies Happy Holidays(R) Mix around the cakes for decoration.
