2 cups margarine, melted 1/3 cup honey, sorghum or molasses 1/3 cup white corn syrup 2 cups granulated sugar 9 1/2 cups quick cooking oats 1 egg 1 cup sliced almonds 1/2 cup flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. salt
Mix all ingredients together. Pat dough into a sprayed or greased 11 x 17 inch cookie sheet with sides. Bake 40 minutes at 350* F. Baking for less time will yield a chewier snack. Score into squares with the sharp end of a spatula while warm. Store in sealed plastic container when cool. Keeps a long time.
