crumb coating: 2 cups crushed corn flakes 1 3/4 cups flour (plain or self rising) 1 T. Mrs. Dash 2 t. garlic powder 2 t. salt
Mix all together in a bowl. Set aside.
Batter Dip: 1/2 cup flour 2/3 cup water ( add a little more if too thick)
Mix together in a separate bowl.
1 package of tenderized round steak cut in pieces. (palm sized) 1 cup cooking oil. salt, black pepper, garlic powder
Season meat and then dip meat in batter. Dip in crumb coating mixture. BE SURE to press coating firmly into steak. Carefully shake off excess and place in skillet with heated oil. Brown slowly( so you won't burn it), on both sides. Add more oil if needed as you cook. yields about 7 steaks
