Kiwi-Mint Julep

Eye-opening colors and refreshing sensations make this playful drink, with or without alcohol, perfect for adding sparkle to hot-weather evenings.
Dissolve: 3 Tbsp. sugar in 1/2 cup hot water; let cool slightly. Blend: 2 cups ice, 3 peeled kiwis, 2 Tbsp. frozen limeade, 2 Tbsp. chopped mint, the sugar syrup.
For cocktail: 3 oz. bourbon.
Makes 2 servings
