Slow Cooker California Tamale Pie

Very Best Baker: D. Achterberg

This is a fast and easy way to make tamale pie and the crock pot does all of the work. The will be no left overs with this meal. This is very kid friendly. Serves 6 to 8.

This sounds awesome--but, is the meat supposed to go in raw or do you brown it first?  Kinda confused...

Chernl,
I read through the recipe and I think it would be fine to put it in raw cuz it's going to cook in the crockpot - especially on high.  If you're more comfortable with browning it first, I think that would also be fine.
If you do try this, be sure to put a review for in the Reviews threads so we'll know whether or not it's worth it for us to try! LOL We'll let you and your family be the guinea pigs!

Glad to see ya around! Have a great weekend!

Hugs & Blessings,
