Italian Pinwheels

  • Cooks at 375 degrees for 5-12 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 8 ounce can of Pillsbury Cresant Rolls (or generic)

  • 1 Egg split into yolk and white

  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese

  • 1/3 cup shredded Sausage or pepperoni

  • 1/8 cup finely chopped Onion (white)

  • Oregano, Parsley, and Pepper as desired (best with all three)

Directions

  1. Mix egg yolk, meat, onion, and cheese together with a spoon until thick

  2. Take cresants in square form (two triangles together)

  3. Press the perferations together with thumbs (like kneeding)

  4. Spread mixture lightly onto four squares

  5. (You can also make two large rectangles for larger pinwheels)

  6. Roll squares legthwise

  7. Cut each square roll into 6 pinwheels (12 if using two large rectangles)

  8. Put cut side down on a baking sheet

  9. Whip egg white

  10. Use brush to brush tops of pinwheels with egg whites

Try Mexican Pinwheels with same instructions but with:

  • 1/3 cup Nacho Cheese Dip

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped Red Bell Pepper

  • 1/4 cup chopped Green Onions

  • 1/8 cup pitted chopped Black Olives
