Spinach Dip (Hot)


Spinach Dip



  • Cook at 425 degrees for 20-25 Minutes/
  • Cook in Microwave for 10 minutes on High
  • Serves up to 20 people eating as appetizer

Ingredients



  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion\
  • 2 minced Garlic Cloves
  • 2 lbs Fresh Spinach
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 6 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 3 dashes Hot Sauce
  • 3 dashes Worshire Sauce
  • 3/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper for taste

Directions



  1. Warm oil in medium pan on stove
  2. Add onion and garlic
  3. Cook for 5 minutes
  4. Add spinach leaves and cook until wilted
  5. Strain and cut spinach if desired
  6. Warm milk in same pan (boil)
  7. Turn heat to medium and melt cream cheese
  8. Add the spinach again and worshire, hot sauce, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup of cheese
  9. Cook for 5 minutes stirring continuously
  10. Put in shallow baking dish
  11. Cover with layer of cheese
  12. Bake in oven or microwave
  13. Serve with french bread sliced thin
