Crock Pot Cola Beef

I made this Crock Pot Cola Beef for dinner tonight. Here's the little changes I made:

Instead of 2-3 lbs chuck roast, cubed, I put in 2 whole boneless chuck steaks (good sized). I sprinkled the dry onion soup mix over it all and tossed in 1 1/2 cups of Cherry Coke (that's all I had! LOL) I also salted it and shook some granulated garlic over it.

The family loved it!! And it will make great leftovers! Shred the leftover beef and put it back in the leftover juices and voila! You've got yourself some Au Jus Sandwiches!

This definately gets !!  Thanks for this recipe CrossWalker!

I made this into French Dip Sanny's today for lunch and boy was it good! LilMs said she liked it about as much as her mac-n-cheese favorite!!

I just put it all in the pan and simmered it, shredded it (while it cooked), toasted the hoagie rolls, and dipped! Mmm mmm good!

Ya'll are really gonna have to try this!!!!

RE: Crock Pot Cola Beef

I made this one last night--put the potatoes, carrots, and celery in the bottom under the meat.  We loved it!!  Seems like the cola kept the meat moister than my crockpot roasts usually are; and the gravy was to die for!  I used to do the coffee/soysauce mixture, but it'll be Coke for us from now on.  MMMMMMM.
