INGREDIENTS:
4 steak filets (or quality meats) 1 stick butter 1/4 cup olive oil Salt and pepper to taste
TO PREPARE:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Season steaks with salt and pepper to taste. Melt 1/2 stick of butter in black iron skillet. Add olive oil to pot when butter has melted. Sear steaks in skillet. Cook to almost desired doneness. Remove steaks from skillet and place on rack in roasting pan into oven. Place dinner plates into oven to warm. Leave steaks in oven for 7 to 10 minutes until meat has reached desired doneness. Melt other 1/2 of stick of butter. Pour more melted butter on steaks when taken out of oven and serve on plates. Garnish with fresh parsley sprigs. Serve with baked potatoes and sautéed fresh mushrooms.
