2 21 ounce cans cherry pie filling 18-1/2 ounce package yellow cake mix 1/4 c. butter, softened 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Pour pie filling into a 5 quart slow cooker; spread evenly. In a large bowl, combine dry cake mix with butter til mixture is crumbly; sprinkle over pie filling. Sprinkle with nuts if desired. Turn slow cooker on low, cover and cook for 3 hours. Serve warm with ice cream.
