Carribean Blend for Fish or Pork


CARRIBEAN SPICE RUB

Combine:

1/2 cup sugar
3 TBSP salt
2 TBSP onion powder
2 TBSP dried thyme
2 TBSP dried turmeric
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
and 1/4 tsp dried, ground ginger

To use, Rub 1/2 tsp olive oil and 3 TBSP mixture over each pound of raw meat. Store unused mixture in an airtight jar or snack size ziplock bag for up to 6 months.
