This colorful marinated salad of corn, tomato, cheese and green pepper is the perfect accompaniment for grilled burgers. Preparation 20 min. Chilling 4 hrs.
Ingredients:
* 1/3 cup sugar * 1/3 cup vinegar * 1/4 cup vegetable oil * 3 cups cooked fresh corn cut off cobs* * 1 (unce) package LAND O LAKES® Yellow Sharp Cheddar, Co-Jack® or Monterey Jack Cheese, cubed 1/2-inch * 1 medium (1 cup) tomato, chopped * 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper * 1/4 cup chopped onion * 1/2 teaspoon celery seed * 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Stir together all ingredients in large bowl. Cover; refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. Stir before serving. *Substitute 1 (16-ounce) bag frozen whole kernel corn, thawed, drained.
