Sammy's Cheesy Peperonni Pizza (Kid Pleaser)

*My Sam loves this easy pizza that I came up with. It uses crescent roll dough and is really delicious. Top with your favorite toppings...but we like cheese and peperonni!

1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough (I use the Grands...BIG rolls)
1 can pizza sauce (I use Contadina)
3 cups shredded Pizza Cheese Blend
1/2 cup plus 1 TBSP grated Parmesan Cheese
1 TBSP Italian Pizza Seasoning
1 Pkg. peperonni slices
2 TBSP olive oil or melted butter

On a large, greased cookie sheet, spread out crescent roll dough and press perforations together to form a large rectangular piece of dough. Press dough around edges to form a raised edge that will hold the filling. Bake dough for 10 minutes in an oven that has been preheated to the temp. recommended on the dough package.

After the dough has baked for 10 minutes, remove from oven and top with half of the parmesan cheese, half of the shredded cheese, pizza sauce, Italian Pizza Seasoning, peperonni and the remaining cheeses (reserving 1 TBSP of Parmesan). Brush the edges of the crust with the melted butter or olive oil and sprinkle with the 1 TBSP reserved Parmesan Cheese.

Bake for another 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Cut into 12 pieces and serve.
