Pudding and Cookie Dessert

I was never told the name to this dessert, but I had to call it something

1 c. buttermilk
1 lg. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
2 sm. cans mandarin oranges
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 pkg. fudge stripe cookies

In bowl, stir together buttermilk and pudding. Add undrained oranges and mix well. Stir in thawed Cool Whip. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Just before serving, break cookies into bite-sized pieces and stir into pudding mixture.
